#5 Impact Top 2014 Moments

5. 3-2 road victory against C.D. FAS in CCL

The good times for the Impact were few and far between in 2014. However, their success in the CCL was absolutely the most positive aspect of the year for Montreal. In the first round they were grouped with the New York Red Bulls and C.D. FAS. Winning on the road always has its unique challenges and not many expected the Impact to get a result in El Salvador against C.D. FAS. However, the Impact players battled tooth and nail and were rewarded with an impressive 3-2 victory, which meant that they had a significant advantage in their group. The Impact did not relinquish their hold and would eventually finish top of the group with a 3-0-1 record.
